I've not been on a sharin mood lately. There are a couple of personal things going on... I want to tell but don't feel like writing about them. Anyway, this seems like fun:

It's inevitable that as we read each other's journals we create mental pictures of each other. Post this on your own journal to find out who your friends see when they read about your life.

Two Rules:
1) The person must be in the movies or on TV (but doesn't have to be an actor/actress). The person can be specific to a role or character or just the person.
2) Post a picture!

Let's see if someone answers. I'll update about my boring life later.

I read the worst reviews for Jennifer's Body. I didn't find Juno THAT genius (in fact, I found it boring). BUT I looove the United States of Tara, so I decided to watch the movie as Halloween is on the corner. It isn't good, it might be ok, but I'm sooo disappointed! I used to think Diablo Cody was a talented writer -and maybe I couldn't grasp the genius of Juno, but was able to do so with the tv show-, but it seems like the only thing I enjoy is the tv show, where other writers are involved...
Has anyone seen it? Did you enjoy it?
Now I'm doubting whether I should watch Paranormal Activity or not... Am I an alien, or horror movies aren't as good as they used to be?

Don't Argue With The Gay Flight Attendant

My flight was being served by an obviously gay flight attendant, who seemed to put everyone in a good mood as he served us food and drinks.

As the plane prepared to descend, he came swishing down the aisle and told us "Captain Marvey has asked me to announce that he'll be landing the big scary plane shortly, so lovely people, if you could just put your trays up, that would be super."

On his trip back up the aisle, he noticed an extremely well-dressed and exotic young woman hadn't moved a muscle. "Perhaps you didn't hear me over those big brute engines but I asked you to raise your trazy-poo, so the main man can pitty-pat us on the ground."

She calmly turned her head and said, "In my country, I am called a Princess and I take orders from no one."

To which the flight attendant replied, without missing a beat, "Well, sweet-cheeks, in my country I'm called a Queen, so I outrank you. Tray up, Bitch."

I just Stumbled upon this. It's also funny because I'm waiting for Milk to load (watching it online).

I'm crying. This woke something inside of me that had been asleep for a long time... I'm loving this song.

My BF and I were discussing yesterday our favorite filmmakers. We obviously had a top 3, but also there are a lot of directors that maybe made a couple of great films whose name we never think of. So we made a list.

Here they are )In other news, there is a fire somewhere close to where I live. I can't see the flames but I can hear hellicopters going back and forth to put it out, and the sky is full of smoke. I'm a little bit worried they won't put it out before night. I just can't believe we survived a whole summer without big fires, and now... I hope it rains tonight.

Oh, and I got my hair cut today... I look like I have a huge helmet of hair. Ugh! I didn't try to fix it, though. I've been loving/hating it all day... I'm sure tomorrow will get better.
